last saturday outing with besties was great. Lots of catching up to do, laughter and jokes, the movie, the present. Afterwards was also great except for the part that the bf forgot to bring helmet which makes me end up walking by the side of the road at the lonely and deserted Changi, waiting for a cab while he ride on his bike beside me.

i think that you're very thoughtful. you let me doze off in your room knowing that i was drowsy from the meds and you didn't even disturb me, and i vaguely remember that you kiss me on my cheek and caress my hair. And then you send me home all the way from the north to the east even when i told you not to cause you know i was sick. You even brought me a sweater in case i got cold during the journey. And during these moments la, i think that you're the sweetest guy that i know. We dont need mushy words to tell each other how we feel.

this is a reality check for me.

i'm sure no matter where i go or where i work, there will be people who will try to bring you down and make your work less enjoyable. And i understand that. Sometimes its just hard knowing that you're the new staff there and people are against you. But i'll take it in my stride. I can't just give up.

Perseverence. That's my favorite word of the days, weeks and months to come.

Its true what they say.

i've been so busy and its just been a cycle, work sleep, wake up work and sleep, till i can't even keep track of which day is which. But its been great. Work is stressful having to learn things all over again but i like the adrenalin pumping in my body. =]

shopping lists. trip to sentosa. movie treats. dinner treats.

i just can't wait.

working life is such a b.i.t.c.h.

But i'm slowly adjusting to it. And somehow i seem to sweat more than i drink water.

And if my besties are reading this, i would like them to know that i really miss them la. I wish we could meet up real soon. ANd thanks for the birthday wishes, i really appreciate that you guys remember it. and even if you don't, i'll make sure you do. =]

The thing is, you guys have been there to celebrate my birthday every year. 18th birthday at wu bar, 19th birthday at hard rock. Lets have a post 20th birthday celebration at somewhere. heh. So what say you?
